Ep.3 – Mike Rhone and Mylissa Malley

Mike Rhone
Mylissa Malley

Hello Broadway babies! My guests on this episode are Mike Rhone and Mylissa Malley. I’ve often been quoted as saying that if you want my opinion about theatre ask Mike Rhone because you’ll get a wonderfully articulate and educated answer. Unless we’re talking about Light in the Piazza, which of course we do in this episode. He’s an amazing performer and a dear friend. Mylissa and I have shared the stage a couple of times in Sunday in the Park with George, and most recently in Shrek. Strong women rock my world, and Mylissa is fiercely strong and a wonderful castmate.

In the episode, we discuss theatre crushes, a passionate defense of 9 to 5, our dream roles, and play a game entitled “You Made a Sequel?!”

Ep.2 – John Ramirez and J.D. Ortiz

Willkommen! Bienvenue! My guests for this episode are John Ramirez and J.D. Ortiz. I shared the stage with John in Shrek, was lucky enough to meet J.D. through John. I’m thrilled to have had the chance continue our friendships in this podcast. In this episode John helps me understand Jersey Boys, why live musicals need an audience (even when done on TV), and we play a rather cheeky round of Would You Rather.

Ep.1 – Tyler Bennett

Theatre kids and playgoers I bid you welcome to the inaugural episode of Drunk Broadway, where we discuss cocktails and jazz hands with a fanatical passion. My first guest is the wonderful Tyler Bennett who I had the great luck to share a stage with during a production of Sunday in the Park With George. Tyler and I discuss what started his love affair with the stage, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark (yes really), and two great cocktails.
